AFN:2CLG-80 BENJAMIN MENDENHALL Benjamin, one of the emigrants came from England brobably about A.D.1683 from the vicinity of the town of Mildenhall, that being the original family name and settled in Concord, PA in A.D.1689; he married Ann, daughter of Robert Pennell, in Chichester Friends Meeting, of which they were both members. He was a wheelright by trade and was a man held in high esteem both in his religeous society and a citizen. In 1714, he served as a member of the Provincial Assembly, and died in 1840 at an advanced age; to him were born 9 children. FROM WEISNER, WEESNER and ALLIED FAMILIES: Benjamin Mendenhall came from England in 1686. He settled in Concord Township, now Delaware County, Pa.
