OBIT: Daniel Barto, 69 died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence, 828 Eliza street, following an illness of Bright's disease. He had been ill six months. Mr. Barto had been a resident of this city for 20 years and was born July 19, 1853, at Williamsport, PA. He was employed by the Fort Wayne Dairy company and was a member of the Summit City Masonic lodge. Surviving are the widow; three children, Mrs. Mabel McClintock, Arthur Barto and Mrs. Helen Eser; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Milton Barto, of Hoagland, and Simon Barto , of Vandalia, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Emenhiser, of Monroeville, Ind., The body will lie in state at the Scottish Rite cathedral Thursday from 10 o'clock in the morning until 2 o'clock in the afternoon, when funeral services will be held, the Rev. F. P. Overmeyer officiating. Burial in the Antioch cemetery at Hoagland.
