Listed as passenger on ship Brother, William Muir, Captain from Rotterdam, Germany and last from Cowes in England WILL OF MICHAEL WEISNER 1772 To all Christian people to whom this presents may come greetings whereas I Michael Weisner of the County of Rowan and Provence of North Carolina calling to men the uncertainty of time. On this seventh day of the eighth month in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy two make and publish this as My Last Will and Testament in manner of him as followeth on the first place. It is my will that my body be decently buried, secondly that my just debts be paid,. I give and bequet to my dearly beloved wife Ruth all my personnal effects of every kind except my young mare of a year old, last spring, and twenty pounds, 12 shillings to secure the plantation I now live on to be paid up in bank and left for that particular use and to be produced when need shall be secure said land and make a title for it. It is my will and desire that this plantation I now live on shall be equally divided between my three sons. It is my will that my son Micajah shall have the lower end of this tract joining the place of Isaac Williams now lives on and it is my will that my son John shall have the middle part of the aforesaid tract or parcel of land. It is my will that my son William shall have the upper end of the aforesaid tract of land. It is my will that my son Micajah shall have the above mentioned youg mare of a year old past. It is my will that my three above mentioned sons shall each of them as they arrive to the age of twenty-one shall be given five pounds wihch is my will that the said fifteen pounds shall be equally divided between my two daughters namely Abigail and Ruth after they arrive to the age of eighteen years and it is my will that my beloved wife shall have the use of said place I now live on until my son John shall arrive to the age of twenty-one years and if she continues my widow it is my will that she shall have her maintenance of the aforesaid tract of parcel of land and it is my wish that my aforesaid three sons shall be at an equal cost in maintaining her. Lastly I appoint my loving wife and my loving brother-in-law John Pike of the aforesaid County of Orange my Executor in fact for the purpose above mentioned.
