George Myers George Myers was born in 1730 in Switzerland. He came to America in 1745. George settled in Maryland just outside Baltimore. George was married to Elizabeth Singree in York County, Pennsylvania in 1754. George and Elizabeth's only known child, Henry was born on August 17,1761. George served as a Second Lieutenant in the Pennsylvania State Navy in Putnam's floating battery in the American Revolution. He died about the year 1790
